The problem is that if I include a certain dependency in my project ( as providedCompile) another library (as compile) will not be included in the package I am building.

Why is that and how do I make it stop?

I was hoping there was something to enforce the scope of a dependency or something like that.

sure there is one

there is "api" vs "implementation"

"api" exposes the dependencies to the modules relying on your lib, whether implementation deps become hidden

I need httpclient as compile but with the other stuff as providedCompile the libraries are not included in the war.

if resteasy depends on httpclient, excluding it from that dependency might just fix it

Yesterday my project was essentially failed because the company doesn't have a way of moving images from external network in here so I ignore that external stuff for a while and implement everything so as if we are internal (because eventually it will use a VPN if everything works out) and literally 20 lines in, I was stuck on the next rubbish again which didn't really help my motivation.

I've made an application for my school which shows all the homework, holidays and there is also a class-wise discussion and a lot more...

But all of my freaking teachers are noobs, yes each of them is noob... They don't know what effort it takes to create even a simple android application...

They didn't show any attention to that application... I said to them that it takes $25 to push it on playstore, and they were like oooooooooooo we could not make that much... I said OK, I myself bought an account for play console... But still, they don't show any attention...

As someone who spent a fair bit of time breaking school systems, you probably don't want to be doing that

If you're any good with computers, your time and effort will be better spent learning more and exploring on your own

None of this will matter in a few years
