I recommend consuming coworkers' space

my desk has a hutch on the top which is nice to have some shelf space, but it limits the space for a monitor

that's a good idea...this is my desk in my new apartment, though, not at work

I might get more once I replace the laptop

A larger monitor is on my list when I can fit into my budget. Eventual I'll get dual monitors, but that's a little ways down the road.

Yeah, it's better to make a trip to a larger city if you're thinking of getting something major

It's usually a better deal if you check around the time semester ends

I'll still keep my eye out for deals nearby

Lots of college folks give away stuff cheap when moving
