I want to slow down emission to test something. Data is processed so fast that I cannot see if the UI is updated correctly, but the test data is only partially representative. There can be much more data, or slower I/O for example

now, I want to convert it back to a String:
Function<Integer, String> backToStringFunction = toIntegerFunction.andThen (String::valueOf);

the compiler says that "backToString" should be of type "Function<String, String>" :D

I suppose since you are chaining Functions, you have to specify the initial input and the eventual output
