@CptEric Blame the EU for that. Without all the billions we pay for this great brotherhood the goverments wouldn't have to revoke things like that. Here in The Netherlands we have the same. Lots of people got ruined for increasing the age of retirement. Why did they need to increase the age? Money issues. My parents for example got fucked because of it. Nobody will hire a notary at age 65.

standing up against government means hurting the government, and the thing that hurts most to a dying economy is killing it's trade routes for short spans of time

protesting in front of a government hall will only get you hit by the police, politicians are not bound to the population after they're put in their seats, and the ruling goverment in spain is a minority ( 100.000 votes out of 5 million ) in catalonia, so they haven nothing to loose.
