@Wietlol apologies for not replying till now but thank you that makes sense :)

I also wanted to check if anyone knows if SecureRandom.getSecureInstance() will ALWAYS be blocking (specifically linux), even if the -Djava.security.egd=file:/dev/./urandom flag has been passed? I checked the algorithm it is using and is seems to still be using NativePRNGBlocking? Cheers
