@Vogel612 The reason I ask is because the way I understood it is objects get added as they are and then casted to whatever type you declare. But if I wrote something like String a=""; int b=1; String c=a+b; this would still work even though a and b are different types. So my question is, when does Java do this kind of implicit casting?

@ballBreaker There really is not a lot to do with migrating. I don't think you even have to install a lot of plugins. The only thing I installed so far was SonarLint as Linter and that's it.

In the mobile chat you cannot do anything useful anyway. You have to go on the absolutely horrible desktop site on your phone. I have done it a few times to move a message or two but usually I ask someone to ping me again, close the chat and have the push notification of the SE-app remind me of what I wanted to do once home.
I think you can kick people tho.
SO devs seem to completely ignore chat anyway tho. Better have some new default theme everywhere while the FAQ page of the chat still says this is under development and in early stage.
