Guys if I have 2 columns in a table column a (Date), column b (Date)... and I want to compare a & b and set a new column c to the earliest date.. I've been doing it using if statements checking too see if both values are null, 1 is null, if both are not null do an inner if to check which is less than... That equates to 5 if statements when just comparing 2 values... is there a nicer maybe more efficient way of doing this..
