I'm not an old enough member to think back to the good old days and wonder at how bad things have become. But I can objectively comment on the fact that there are issues with the system enabling bad content which is against the site's mission statement. I just hope that they can see how their "welcoming narrative" is harming both the site's quality as well as their relationship with the people who have worked to make the site what it is today.
