How can I compare an array of elements to a string?

If I have if($onboarding_data->getStatus() == "1") It will give me an array error because it's an array to a string. How can I write if any of those elements = 1?

@Tiffany I'm afraid if I use another loop inside of the loop it will create more check boxes as it finds matches because the current checkboxes are created with the first loop and the second array is to check if the status of that element in the loop matches 1 the box should appear checked

I am getting data from third party API.
I am using php curl_multi. In that i am request for 5 page in loop and per page it is 2 record.
But in response i am getting output like as following

    [1] => json data
    [2] => Rate Limit Exceeded
    [3] => Rate Limit Exceeded
    [4] => Rate Limit Exceeded
)
Here i am getting only for first two index json data. For other three index i am getting Rate Limit Exceeded.
So how to get all the data without Rate limit exceeded ?

@Wes, IMO that's too special. I'd rather have some general notation for callables instead of strings/arrays. @LeviMorrison's idea to merge symbol tables would basically solve this, but I don't think it will pass.

@cmb yeah as Wes said not actually providing extension level aliases :) but I feel if we can manage to get a tool to fix those case insensitive usages we will have a better chance at making everything case sensitive

@codGmer you should look at the network connection tab in your browser and see what data is being sent to the server by the form. If you're not seeing it on the backend, then it's probably an error in the Javascript.

@codGmer that clearly doesn't have the other data on it. So.....you need to find out why that's possible. But that's only going to be possible by debugging the code inside the app, not on the server side...

@Wes Case sensitivity should be unified. I don't care strongly about making them all sensitive or insensitive; I slightly prefer insensitive because then there are no locale issues (but since we've had it for so long this isn't much of an issue) and it's slightly faster because we don't have to normalize the case everywhere.

@LeviMorrison do you know if it is possible to track registration of new classes in the core? Without optimization, there is the ZEND_DECLARE_CLASS opcode which can be handled by user opcode handler, but this opcode is removed by default.
