@FélixGagnon-Grenier except the classics ctrl+c ctrl+v etc, the rule is: if a functionality is useful, then it'll be mapped to keys that require at least three hands to activate it
Alt + drag down also works to insert multiple carets if you are like me and forget shortcuts easily. I can just about remember that alt switches to block selection mode.
phpstorm already has every feature anyone will ever need, they just announce a few of them each time they bump the version number so people become aware of them
@MadaraUchiha but the point is that just now, one part of prograsmming I hate most (formatting code and machinal stuff) just got easier and faster. life is quite good.

yeah, because you want the RFC to just describe how the feature will as a matter of fact work, what it will affect, and so on ... you don't want it to be full of questions by the time voting comes around, questions of any kind ...
you need to justify the way you are doing it, and deal with the arguments in favour of doing it the other way ... and it would be smart to deal with that at the start of the conversation ...
rather than throwing two ideas out there for folks to argue over, pointlessly ...
excellent ... hold that tentative position until the end of the process, it does no good to marry an implementation of anything before it is voted in ... keep eyes on the long term goal, rather than changing focus to getting the feature in a particular way ... there will be noise, and genuine refutations of your arguments against doing it other ways, you have to listen to the latter, carefully ...
