Im building an application that's going to need things to be stored on a server or elsewhere. It's eventually going to be a multiplayer gane. What's the cheapest way I can go about it? I'm set up for MySQL
Can I just use it with Linux on on a desktop, and I need to practice with it first. Can I just install it on my Mac? Everything would be local..

Any of you know phpMyAdmin quite well ? Curious to know regarding the relations viewer what the constraint name is for and what the options for on delete and on update do ? I'm not sure which option I should choose.

How do I install a PHP extension from Github onto my server. I'm testing out PHP7 and wanted to install https://github.com/mkoppanen/imagick/tree/phpseven but there is no documentation on how to install it on linux.
Probably a newbie question but would really appreciate the help.

plus, I spend 90% of the time I am awake right here, infront of two big screens ... I can't really do anything about them using theirs ...

@Ocramius the thing i like most about event sourcing is that everything is recorded by default and natively. i always try to keep in mind that if i discard some data, i will end up regretting it. i often wished i had kept history for stuff that is now lost forever :( but ain't nobody got time for that... unless you always do it by design and for everything
