model view controller to have a natural order/causality in your UI.
Active object/run-on-UI-thread dispatch queue to separate these.
If the model "just updates" spontaineously, use whatever refresh mechanism you use for anything else (updating a clock widget, reflecting live changes from backend data sources). Most often UI frameworks have some kind of idle scheduling for this kind of thing.
(I'm not assuming real-time (high FPS) rendering; My thinking is informed by desktop visualization/GUI frameworks)

Must admit that I do give 1 star reviews occasionally, I gave 4/5 star reviews more often. But everything is by comparison. 1 stars are not there for decoration purposes, if you are much beneath my expectations (and I do have low expectations a lot of the times), then you deserve bad ratings. Your bad ratings would make those who receive good ratings through their good work to shine like the sun above cow poops. You are the sacrifice you made yourself to be!

I don't see nvidia actively blocking an open version of CUDA. Companies like mulitcoreware and Google have implemented cross compilers without any fuss. I suspect that they haven't tried.

Hey guys, i am pretty unsure, if this is the right place for my question. Since it is subjectiv a normal stackoverflow question would not be right. For a university project i am curently planning ahead, i am searching for a lightweight, GUI Framework, which allows easy 3D rendering, aswell as diagrams inside a normal window. It will be used for some kind of rigid body dynamics simulation. (a similar look like ansys/ star ccm should be possible). I would be happy for some suggestions!

I had this work as a kid before, and for publications I pipped the model to POVRAY
