you've got something like an Either<TLeft, TRight> and a method Cases(Func<TLeft, TLeftResult>, Func<TRight, TRightResult>) the only way I see to make this happen is to actually not pass in functions that return results and force to have side-effects

ideally I wanted to return: Either<TLeftResult, TRightResult> if they were unequal

or TLeftResult if TLeftResult == TRightResult

by not passing in functions that return results I mean passing in stuff with signatures like void(TLeft)
