@Rick I am quite lucky. Here, we have a "beer light" that upper management (usually the CEO himself, unless he's out of town or something) turns on.

@Rick Speaking of "the tap", I guess I forgot to mention since I don't use it, but the company keeps a keg on hand, so the beer light coming on signals that it's open for business, so to speak.

Those were the days, getting drunk with co-workers. My co-workers went drinking at Whole foods. Yeah, Whole foods! We were in the parking lot till 2:00am. Sad thing is, this trade war has actually united people in China and the communist party. Possibly by introducing a common 'external enemy'.

It's always interesting to observing how Australian, Chinese and the Americans get brainwashed. Some of those people I think I even know reasonably well. I know that they are brainwashed, not because my much superior intelligence, but because I am lucky enough to be exposed to information from many sides.

A person who has travelled around a giant mountain would likely to form a view different to those villagers who lived in villages at different direction of the mountain, whom have never got out of their villages and viewed the mountain from only their direction.
