@Chimera the only issue with lambdas is if you use the same lambda in two places and they are non-trival. Then the compiler will make extra code when it could have been in a single function object
if they are very very similar just use a template function object

@LightnessRacesinOrbit It's funny you say that. I'm a foster parent and have fostered a number of teenage girls who had their first periods while living with us. Every single girl didn't want to talk about this with me ( I'm a guy ) but would with my wife. I suppose this is normal?

@DavidHammen: yes the loop does exist for the sole reason of avoiding the gotos, and their necessary labels. this means that the code is structured, by the original meaning of the word: control flows into blocks at top, and when it exits a block it comes out right at the bottom of that block. what you're arguing for, goto jumps, has been known to create hell since Dijkstra's original "GOTO considered harmful" article in 1968.
