my wife ended up with -6 in both eyes, had laser correction and it's been unbelievably effective. When your eyes stabilise in prescription (age changes stop mid-20's I think), don't be afraid to seriously consider that if you find glasses a pain in da ass

for the cataract? not sure if doable. also since that eye has never contributed much beyond helping with 3D perception, it's probably pointless. when I got glasses for the first time, it was wierd because the brain started paying more attention to it, and I had wierd ever-so-slight double vision until the brain learned to track completely properly it with the other one.
