Actually, I think I exploited a game mechanic, the last stand thingy. I had a painkiller on me, when he started to dispense bullets at me and depleted my health, it is easier to kill him as you fall (just one on target, I think).

I think they have this arcade-game boss fight health, as opposed to the rest. You have to survive long enough and dispense as much bullets as you can into his least shielded extremities. I think he kneeled a couple of times before he died.

One of the things that irritated me is that upon releasing control back to the player (from the cutscenes) they equip you with a gun which might not have any bullets left.

And then you dodge and painfully realise you no longer have your weapon equipped.
