here's what I've been trying to say for the last 6 hours: meta and SO are not the same thing. The community on meta does not have the best interests of SO at heart. And the community of SO does not generally get heard on meta. Since SO is kind of the meat of this network, that is a problem, and something that, of all people, you'd think moderators were concerned about. This full-out denial is getting really tiring

@MooingDuck The "social rejects" Im referring to are those programmers that look down on others who have the same interests, but THINKS that they are better than others within that same field.

So they resort to unwarranted snide remarks for the lack of their overall social self-esteem. But outside of programming (real life), the tables (reality) are the absolute opposite. They are the rejects taking revenge for bad experiences from high school, and this is their outlet to "play God." So those that took shots at me for asking a simple question fits this description.
