@Justin I think you should look to use an existing media capture piece of software rather than reinvent the wheel. All of them that I know of are closed source.
I rather wish you hadn't put a bounty on it, I would've been willing to offer a larger one

@drachenstern I can't the application goes across screens and most software only captures the first screen. Plus, I'm already taking lots of resources doing internal work. Having any other application open while providia (the app that needs to do the video file stuff) is running (and your in production) is not recommended. It's still in development but it uses a lot of resources to super impose video, images, text, on streams, video, text...
Consider it photoshop for realtime video... I am already sharing resources across forms, I'm hoping I can cut down some wait and stuff more in one app. Just think of another app running while providia is running... It loads all those extra windows links in memory. Not a lot, but every bit of spare memory for rendering the video is good.
@drachenstern Yeah, Its complicated I know. I'm hoping to be pointed to something that just gets me started. Here's hopping someone out their knows a thing or two.
You should give:
1. Expected input
2. Expected output
3. The code that you are using now (the code that references the thing you are trying to do, not the entire project)
4. The explanation of what you have tried
So far you've given most of #1 and #4, after asking you've given #3, that's causing us to scratch our heads and wonder what you need exactly.
@DanielGR You'll have to write a translator that takes your tags and converts it to the flowdocument. I use something similar in providia (that meaningless screenshot above).
Ug... I know what your talking about. You can get the selection index from the RTB and comapre the text up to that point... That's what I did for a WPF wikieditor

Its vb.net but you can migrate it over to c# no problem
You can get a textpointet, from the selection and use the textpointer to get the text up to the selection (or cursor) . then just compare the original text. To see where you are in the rich formatted text.
iH is a custom user control, its designed to hold an image, do all sorts of stuff for you.

Silverlight doesn't have a text range? why the hell not? WPF and Silverlight seem to have very common code branches, but they are not combined that well.
Try adding the reference to it and see what SilverLight does.

Drat!!! Go ask Microsoft, I'm sure they will point you to an equivalent object or something. They have a forum for VS 2010, and one for Silverlight. They want you to use their system instead of Adobe's so they will be happy!
Lol, I know... it was more Sarchasism... I know exactly how you feel it took me weeks of research on RichTextBox controls to build a decent editor, but it still has huge bugs because of the "incompleteness" of the features. I prefer the web's edit iframe feature to any Microsoft RTB implementation.

Yes... but meta has other issues like when group census does not match a dev's opinion (one in particular) the item gets closed (still ranking upvotes from users everywhere) and never re-looked. Primarily because meta questions are closed by certain tags and not closed with a "reopen" vote available.
