it depends from computer performance, infact if I limit max lines, it does not slow down

@neoDev yes, but in either case. when you manipulate,search, or in any means touch the DOM it is going to be slow. so minimize that when possible.

Can anyone help me with Object spreading? In React the tutorial I am following writes {...this.props}. I can't run this in the browser to see what's being output. Here's the value of this.props - {to: "/about", children: "About"} - So what does {...this.props} equal?

True. It does not work there.

it really only replaces Object.assign({}, foo, bar) for merging into a new object

and yea.. I use Object.assign(this, something) a lot, too.
