@MarkOSullivan94 because I have a long flow (including speech recognition / voice / user click) between 4 modules,
and it's almost impossible to unit debug them and it's getting harder to debug it when something "doesn't know as expected" as you have to go through all the methods called.
so instead of polluting the code with logs I'd like to have the execution path logged automatically (to know which test failed or succeeded etc...)

But in Android specifically, I don't know how Databinding would work with things like animations?

As mapping an EditText to a String is all very good, but what happens when you want an animation to swoop around your inputs adding them based on a timer?

Databinding to me seems pretty useless - same with MVVP. As it doesn't give you the freedom to anything but the most simple things (and still leave with with testable components)

Dha, the validation goes into your VM - Android should be able to call the binding adapter passing as parameter the View, where the binding was declared, along with the result of validation
