So, all the names that start with A are under the A heading - is it safe to assume, in a a RTL language, to just use the last character in the string?

in english, i'd grab "Adam Johnson" -> name[0] -> A, and throw that in as the header title for all people that start with A. In arabic, would i grab name[name.length() - 1] and put that in the heading?

we support a lot of languages, but not arabic

we don't have the app localized in arabic either, but we do generate some UI elements, like list of contacts, based off user content - we were just curious what'd happen in an RTL language, or if we're actually totally backwards right now heh

it's such a minor part of our user base at the moment, it's not a huge issue, just a weird edge case for RTL

so you don't have to worry, the indexes interpretation order remains the same

we tested with arabic which is RTL
