I read this question, looked clear to me even though I just chanced upon it. It's closed as "unclear". I edited it to make it clearer, then flagged for a moderator attn, because I saw only that and spam and rude flag options.

My custom flag was: "looks clear to me; if it's on-topic, consider reopening?". But it was declined saying: "Using standard flags helps us prioritize problems and resolve them faster. Please familiarize yourself with the list of standard flags: see What is Flagging?" . I don't know what that is supposed to mean. I saw no other standard flag. If the question was offtopic, sure, I can understand. But this reason makes no sense.

Q: How can I remove empty spaces which are both sides of banner?

There are empty spaces right and left side of banner. How can I filled these? How can I expand the banner? Take a look >>> currently I'm using >>>>

I didn't feel like making a meta question, because I'm not thaat invested in getting it reopened. But I am curious why that is not possible.

@PetterFriberg Sure you don't want to complain about that badge like others have? Such as you don't like the name/connations of having it? :p

@NVZ Basically you can't do nothing, with >3K reputation you can choose to reopen (needs 5 users if not dupe).

@PetterFriberg so, as i understand it, there is no standard flag for me to use, but the mod who declined it either mistakenly chose that reason, or was lazy enough to give a custom response.

@NVZ You should not flag for moderator, I have also done that wrongly once ;), you need to answer and ask more questions, then you can vote to close and reopen instead ;)

@PetterFriberg thats odd. i thought we were to ask for a mod's help when needed, not stick around the site long enough just to gain enough rep to reopen a question. i'm no programmer and i have nothing to do on SO.

mods are not domain experts that's the core problem, hence you can't ask them to judge quality

Why does deleting an account with a question with negative score on it, delete the question regardless whether it has an answer with score >0? Roomba doesn't delete downvoted questions with positive scoring answers for a reason.

@JonClements making a meta for this specific case is not needed imo, but for the general case it might be...

The deletion of (downvoted, closed) question + upvoted answer makes sense though: that's what rule 11 says in the metaSE I sent you

Yeah... but deleting a user that has earned someone a reversal badge seems it will also delete their Q and all the answers towards it - which doesn't make much sense really

Well, badges don't get reversed (pun intended) ever, so if this happens when you already have the badge it's not really a problem

I imagine for the number of times it happens that someone who leaves or is made to leave has made a negatively scored question with an answer that's worth keeping is so slim... it's not something to worry about

(plus I'd be surprised if it hadn't been raised before or not otherwise known)

so looking at bluefeet's chat profile you can see her last message was "1 day ago", but looking at the "recent" tab shows the last message is from July. Does that first stat include mod-only rooms?

No idea either. But, then again, some Spanish stuff is weird. Used to play a MMO with some guys who all opted for the last name Hizo. Some GM got it into his head it was a bad word and removed their last names
