A console is a very customised bit of hardware, and games are designed to take advantage of the exact hardware configuration, to extract the most power out of it. Any change in hardware means they won't work. MS have fixed that in software by emulating the 360's hardware

@neuronet well, also many people use that python which launches when they type python in terminal, which is bad in almost all linuxen since python is an alias for python2 because of the many scripts that expect /usr/bin/python to be python2. (and that also leads to the expectation that Python 3 somehow is not yet the default).
