@Blade, where do you want that numbering? (is it just for display in e.g. tableview)? do you want to persist the number if name position in array changes? (like name moves from 1st position to 3rd but will still have number '1' attached to it?)
@Blade, you can always get the number from index of object in the array, no need to store it anywhere else. like in tableview : cell.textLabel.text = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%d. %@", indexPath.row, name]

that's why in another view controller, i have to load all the elements with the field value of YES
the thing is... when i click the button...and go to the Favorites view, i can see the new entry...but if i check the database...no changes were made to the field
@sreecharan @piya , I'd probably go to moving validation logic into some "Validator" class - so you can easily have different validation logic for different cases. If you just don't want to implement same shouldChange... method in every view controller you can implement it once in custom UIViewController category or have your own UIViewController subclass as a base class for all your controllers and implement that method in it

@EliasRahme, copy database file somewhere else before use (e.g. in app's Documents folder). The workflow will be 1. Check if sqlite file exists in Documents 2. If not - copy it from app bundle 3. Work with it
@EliasRahme, you put it in the project and so it will appear in application bundle when app installed - but you cannot change anything in application bundle after it is signed. So to update your database in live application you need to copy database file into some location where you can write to (e.g. Documents folder as in the code snippet posted by @VakulSaini)
@PraviJay, i want to create my own solution.... BTW i already create one my won download manager class which give me return NSData in its delegate method and i also handled it well if connection lost.... but in my case now i want to downloaded data in 2-3 time in different function one by one.... after each downloading data i want to do some database manipulation. In this scenario ur solution and my solution not working.. so i have to handle it in dispatch queue.

i had two buttons,the first button is to delete the table values from data base.For this button i use tableview commit editing style delegate method.The second button is used to edit the table values.For this i use tableview will begin method as u told.But when i click the second button commit edit method is only called.How can i call the second delegate method under second button action.This is my question
I had get the values from textview and store it in data base and i display the values in tableview.If the user wants to edit the first row in table view ,push to the previous view the textview is present
@Blade, choose an "Archive" option in Xcode menu Product/archive - it will build your app and save built binary. Then you can export the archive and send it to the client directly or using some service like testflight. testflight has mac app that makes build sharing much easier + you can also google for some scripts that even allow to upload build to testflight as a part of building your target

But I am having the following problem. I have a tableView with buttons on every cell. I also got an image in the accessory view. Thing is that the image obscures button and also sometimes text. Does someone have an idea how I can work around that? I tried putting accessory.view image in background, but that did not work. Ill upload picture, wait a second.

Morning all... I installed Superfish; everything appears to be working... however, I wanted to make some changes, so I copied the original superfish.css to my -blocks/superfish directory. Made the changes (wanted round corners on the dropdown), and they didn't show up. No matter what I do to the superfish.css file, nothing changes on the website. I have cleared the cache many times. Any ideas?
