That's how I compiled the vote totals from last year.

See last year's election for how that'll look like.

I counted 21480 vote entries in the file, but the election page claims 21,571 people voted.

Not sure what happened to those 91 votes..

12000 new Constituent badges so far, so we are well on track to beat that this year.

Did you watch CPG Grey's video on STV yet?

If their first choice is elected, the fraction over the threshold is transferred to their second choice.

If their first choice is eliminated, their whole vote is transferred to their second choice.

So it depends on what that first choice was how much Jon will get in additional votes.

Note that in the Meek STV system the threshold gets lowered as votes are eliminated as well, so more and more of the already elected votes gets transferred as needed.

My Mac has a small app that allows me to create tiny pdfs with math functions.

So a single pdf per function.

You could see if you could find something similar.

Windows requirement for school/work :\ (I know there are built-ins with Linux or Mac)

It's quite nice here near Boston - it's currently 69F/21C, partly cloudy, and a nice breeze is blowing. The boys have been playing outside most of the day, and we even washed my car! Quite a break from having a meter of snow on the ground...

Yup. And I have good(ish) news - I'm starting a new job in 10 days. It's still a contract position, but at least with this one there's the chance of being hired full-time at some point, which isn't really the case where I'm at now. It'll also be a little bit of a change - I'll be working on immuno-oncology, using therapeutic monoclonal antibodies to activate the immune system to fight cancer. Cool stuff...

bananas indeed. What I'm working on now is more discovery research - we have an idea for a new way of treating certain diseases, and we're trying to find out if it'll even work. It's definitely a long way from patients. I really love what I'm doing, but this new job will be a little closer to the clinic, as it's a proven technology, and the company supposedly has great technology in identifying the patients that will respond best to the therapy.

@vaultah I doubt it. They're a start-up, with only 35 employees, so I doubt they have the kind of IT policies that my current employer (a very large pharma company that rhymes with "wiser") has.

I've had 4 hours today

and the non-profit I volunteer for is trying to update their website and doesn't know how to paste preformatted HTML

and is blowing up my PERSONAL phone trying to get answers after I told them to unpublish until I can sit down with them

Not to mention neither of my on-call techs are answering their phones for the day job

so the two sites that need to have hardware maintained are calling me every half hour checking for an update
