So I figured out the problem.
I was saving the picture to internal storage with getFilesDir() which put the picture into my apps sandbox and made inaccessible to the other apps.
I replaced my code with the following:
String file_path = Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory().getAbsolutePath(...
@Rahul I tried same, I copied a Arraylist into other using addAll(), I made changes to this new Arraylist copued then it itself make changes to origional list.

Static variables represent global state. That's hard to reason about and hard to test: if I create a new instance of an object, I can reason about its new state within tests. If I use code which is using static variables, it could be in any state - and anything could be modifying it.

Based on the type of bus choice, switch between GridLayoutManager, and StaggeredGridLayoutManager.
For all the types, use a header view with just a steering wheel icon right aligned.
