Got a feeling with this I might be flogging a dead horse...but might as well try.

Anyone here able to suggest tag syn? Looks to me like human-computer-interface should be a syn of hci.

Most of us can but we might not be able to for the tags you are looking at. You need to have a minimum score in the tag your synonymizing to.

You can use a custom flag for a mod or bring to to meta. Bringing it to meta would be my first step

hci seems very generic for something as specific as a Host/Controller Interface for USB, there are other Host/Controller Interfaces out there.

It would make more sense if it was hci-usb or something similar.

@Lankymart You may be right. I've not though enough about this to have an informed opinion one way or the other.

@Lankymart Perhaps the [hci] tag should be generalized to cover Bluetooth, USB and Firewire. It can be used in combination with specific tags for the relevant type of device.

You should write up a Meta post to get more opinions on this matter.

@AndyK The way to get a mod to do a mod action is either with a mod flag or a meta post. Those are the only ways you should communicate to a mod you need something done.
