yeah like if I go to the beehive and jump in the middle to cv3 (stackoverflow.com/questions/35152778/debian-php7-not-working) we had Mohammed and Reimeus brought it up to close

So those 32 rows were the only ones in the system with any cv>0

@Magisch this is my opinion as well. No use in complaining. Rep does not mean what it did 2 years ago. They are hell bent on ad impressions and the torrent of crap just means more ad impressions as people have to dig through all the dupes and nonsense.

I'm in the habit of adding a helpful comment to such questions when I close-vote them, so I don't appear like a total meanie. OTOH, I worry that giving such OPs any help only encourages them to do the same thing in the future...

@BhargavRao It's a bit weird that the system only picks up self-dupe answers, but I guess that simplifies the dupe-searching process. IMHO, copying your own answer instead of using it as a dupe target is bad, but plagiarising someone else's answer is downright evil.

@BhargavRao An automated plagiarism detector is not easy to do. Sure, it's easy enough to find exact duplicates, or dupes that only differ in whitespace, but a good plagiarism detector needs to be able to cope with trivial modifications too.

The OP isn't asking how to do base conversion in JavaScript, they're asking how the .toString() method performs its magic. Neil's (updated) answer explains that well, but i guess there should be a dupe for this somewhere. :)

OTOH, if the answer has good info that's not covered by the existing answers, and the owner is just throwing a tantrum, there may be grounds for undeletion.

@BhargavRao Yeah, that's just the best thing I could find in a quick Googling. However, if self-deletion + self-vandalism is acceptable then plain self-deletion should be ok too.
