One of the things that irks with REBOL 2 is you can't display anti-aliased fonts in text input fields, like the VID field. So I have come up with a workaround that uses DRAW to dynamically render the text as you type. It's a bit of a hack, since it only works reliably with monospaced fonts, but it does work, and it supports basic text entry and backspacing. I eventually plan to add support for …

@giuliolunati The only thing I changed was splitting the MAKE-NATIVE and COMPILE bits... I noticed that some of the options weren't implemented. If you want to help @ShixinZeng and work on improving the options dialect, or adding features to the main COMPILE block for other types (right now it's just strings and MAKE-NATIVE'd functions) jump in...! github.com/metaeducation/ren-c/blob/master/src/core/n-native.c

So I'm making it so that if you say for-each f function! [...] you can enumerate all the functions in the system. But it does it with a snapshot, so you'll only see the functions that were there before you ran the body... new functions you make in that body won't be added. It's a bit weird with GC etc.
Then I guess we'll have a stats-of so you can query a function and get back a stats object, if you had statistics enabled.
Really we should be able to do instrumentation in user mode, with hijacking, so that will be the long term goal.
