@JoshC. you can do very little in this, sending too many mails in few minutes will mark the rest of the mails as spam, usually Google does that, try sending 10 mails back to back constantly in less time, and see how your mails end up in spam, yes, even google -> google id

@JoshC. depends on the email providers, some are sensitive and some are smart, if you take Google, I had a client in the company I used to work, he was chinese, so even simple informative mails were spammed by Google, because the language he sent was chinese..

Each email will be sent from 1 mail server so yes it will be blacklisted but there are multiple factors too look out for

@JoshC. if you want, use 000webhost for testing how things really work, even if that ip gets blacklisted, you don't need to worry

sooooo this might be an obvious question. i'm getting myself a little confused when looking at github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer. im assuming that in order to actually send the email you have to have an email server right? you cant just run the code and it just magically get it sent out?

Every webhost comes with a mail server mail() automaticly sents through that but with phpmailer you need to set the SMTP settings so you can also mail through gmail or outlook etc.etc.
