I am using FCM for push notification. Firebase doc says click on notification will open launcher activity when app is in background. So how can I get notification message in launcher activity ? Can anybody help me ?

It should be inside the Android core

@ItachiUchiha You can check source of EditText to see what happens on tapping.

Let me explain

1. I have a TextField (without focus). I tap on it, it gets focus and shows keyboard. Makes sense.

2. I press back, the keyboard goes away. But, the textfield still has focus.

3. I tap on the TextField (with focus) and the keyboard shows again.

So, the listener on the focusProperty isn't controlling the keyboard. Its something else. What is it?

on back pressed, you can also remove focus from edittext @ItachiUchiha

@ItachiUchiha No the focus property is only which takes care of keyboard

I guess the keyboard is shown manually, not by focus. I guess even if you request focus on an edittext, it wont popup keyboard(verifying it)

I remember I used to use requestFocus for keyboard, but it just acquire focus without keyboard showing, so I guess these 2 are seperate things

means focus doesn't control keyboard popup

yes I am right, I just tried on an edittext

requestFocus() won't popup keyboard

so focus doesn't trigger keyboard, there must be extra code for popping it

@berserk I play about 1-1.5 hours every evening, but it would not be worth it to fill so much storage and waste so much money on games I am not playing anyways. Only Exception are weekends and probably my study time soon :)
