I debugged the problem, so the value bound to the block bar is valid and binding is set up correctly, that rules out the issue with binding. I'm stumped at the moment so I created a question on SO regarding the issue:
my thoughts are that the way I have both gauges over layed on top of each other is the problem, that the main gauge is blocking the second gauge from showing.
I've set up binding of a double value to an AngularBlockBar control. There are two gauges in the layout, but the AngularBlockBar which is over layed on top of the AngularGauge doesn't show its binding value updating on screen, although valid binding values are being updated to it.
