Engineering Drawing is part of the second semester

For the first we have Math, Physics, Chem, Basic Electric and Electronic Engineering, and Engineering Mechanics

That's a very small number of courses

We also have 3 hours of Workshop each week, where we learn the basics of carpentery, plumbing, and a few more things, which is very cool

Another perspective: I've spent thousands of hours developing my programming ability. You could argue that a single line of code that I write might require thousands of hours of investment. Sure, it's one line, but unless the client wants to spend that time learning for themselves, they need to pay someone that has.
