@SomeGuy On a more serious note. The "improvement" they were doing was to make the first very light and boring on students, and increasing the 3 year graduation to 4 years. The curriculum for the first year was as much crap as the previous system's one, and the rest 3 years were the 3 years from the previous system + more crappy curriculum.

I'm calling a method from a view with AJAX that is returning a different view, however, the page is not changing to the other view. Is this not possible to pass a value from an ajax call into a controller method and then return the view of a different page (essentially loading a different page)?
