maybe you can't do anything about it now, but you should generally avoid it if possible.. have it on the web page already, just hidden

In your case, you can still use Temp in the place of "I am alert"

A PDF file is sort of like an .NET executable, in that when you load it, it relies on an API to render the file

Judging by how fast it does it, I'd guess that HTML is prerendered/cached, and not in realtime

I suppose you could use pdf.js to render it, and cache it, but then you're going to have to buckle down and learn the consistencies of the code that it produces, before you can do anything useful with it.
