believe it or not those audiobooks on iTunes actually help somewhat. but there's nothing like emerging yourself in a language to learn it well.

@FlorianMargaine Yeah I did that and all I got were x and y coords and a couple other things (using e.toSource() in firefox). I had hoped there was maybe something I was missing like perhaps another function argument of which I was unaware..

It sequentially loads chunks of data in from the audio buffer, fourier transforms it, does parabolic interpolation on the highest peaks in the frequesncy spectrum, then looks up the true peak in the pitch frequency tables :P

the only punk band I've ever seen benefit from tons of production was blink 182 with their self-titled masterpiece (the one that came out just before they split up like 10 yeas ago)
but do you know you what I mean bout the production thing? I mean that blink album is arguably "over-produced" but in my opinion it's a masterpiece! whereas with alkaline trio.. they just sound like crap now
his voice was absolute perfection on good mourning.. but that voice can't be "bought" so-to-speak. it was like that because he had a drinking problem which killed his throat. not to mention smoking doesn't help that either haha
but if you look further into the details of that debacle you will see that his actions, however terribel they were, were totally understandable
he just sorta...snapped I guess. he regretted it and wrote a public apology and everything but most of the "punks" in that scene totally abandoned the guy
agreed. so yeah I've always been sorta in the middle on that issue. not because I don't have "convictions" but because I understand you know. I'd like to think I'd never beat some chick but you never know! LOL

I used to listen to stuff like Rancid and Bouncing Souls and what not but it's been a long time.. now I'm trying to remember the vast collection of punk rock albums I have stored away somewhere/on my old iPod video haha
