@nil the Transformer series comes with an Office app (that I can't remember what it's called :| ) and SuperNote, which certainly isn't bad in my short use of it

Before I put this question on SO and look like a moron, why is the Samsung tab grabbing resources from "layout-normal" but yet programatically reporting it's screen size as "LARGE" ?

If I have a layout-normal and a layout-large copy, and no copy in "layout", will "Small" devices crash or will they snag it from layout-normal?

I know languages throw crashes when they can't match exactly and there isn't a copy in values/

One possible workaround would be to name the file in layout-normal-land something different, and then load the appropriate layout using Java to detect screen size

Keep all the IDs etc the same

I don't know of any open source ones, but if you can find the source of an SMS client you'll get the code and APIs used for sending and receiving
