I just love VFS. The networking alone is worth the money. You may not have that many opportunities at a small school.

That website is so biased. I used it before i went to VFS

half the things they talked about, are just not true.

Things are ALWAYS changing at these schools. So, any review older than 4 months is useless.

But. Regardless, seeing the portfolio of the students work is the most misleading thing ever. It doesn't mean your child will be able to do it, it just means there are talented people who've been to that school.

There's always a huge talent gap, because most of these schools take anyone who is willing to pay them money (including VFS). But, you get out what you put in.

You could slack off for the 12 months and hand in the bare minimum, and still get your diploma; however, these industries are about portfolio more than anything.

Well, yes. My point is about the legitimacy and reputability of these comments.

They're written poorly, and most of the time... the person who hated it, wasn't ready for how hard it is.

My class started with 30 people. 10 Dropped out within 6 months.

A good school will always get bad reviews from the people who just couldn't make it through. If there was 100% positive reviews about a school, that most likely means everyone was able to get through it perfectly.

I'm not trying to push you towards VFS. It does sound like it, but basically I'm just saying to be super skeptical about anything you hear about any of these schools. You gotta experience it upfront I think... it's totally different than I had imagined.

You might consider that idea strange but if the choice is between 24- or 32-bit and 16-bit (i.e., RGB565), you could shave off 1/3 to 1/2 of the image size.
