autolayout is so crappy. much rather ask the frame what position is has and what it's height is

have some complex views that were slowed down by constraints

manually laying out views is nearly 10x faster with complex views

I'm now using a nib with a dynamic height textview

systemLayoutSizeFittingSize gets the right height

but it's absurdly slow

2 seconds to switch from the menu to the new controller

frame.size.height does not have the correct height

keeps having the nib original height is seems

Encountered a 403 error that only occurred on one tester's ipad, and only on the background downloads, none of the other web requests. Turns out it was the apostrophe in his ipad's name, which we send in the HTTP headers.

SpriteKit has sprite node classes called SKSpriteNode

It has an optional variable called 'scene' of type 'SKScene'

I have a subclass of SKSpriteNode

Is there any way to "override" and downcast that scene variable into my own subclass of SKScene?

And if there is, is that bad practice? I feel like I've done something like this a million times.

I have subclasses of SKScene, I need my damn Sprite Nodes to know it's MY subclass of SKScene and not just an SKScene

is it possible keep track of a contraint during auto layout ?

For example, if I have a 4 seconds animation, and that I want to know the size for the view at a specific time, let's say for the example 3 seconds. Of course I could calculate that if it's a linear translation, knowing the original time, I could know the width. But I would rather put an observer on it to know it's value. And even better then that, I would like to put an observer on that property. Any way to do that ?

I am doing integration of improper rational expressions. And you need to do long division on the expression because these problems always have a larger numerator than denominator. But during long division, the example I am using is as follows:

x + 4 | x^2 + 8x + 10

I need to for instance, write that x goes into x^2 'x' times. Because x*x is x^2. But if it has a coeffecient of like 3x^2, must I say it goes in 3x times or just x times?

I feel like It is logical to say x goes into 3x^2 '3x' times. That makes sense to me, but I was just unsure.
