and line tool is a mess. basically is a form of rectangle with only a border that is centered. so spacing is very messed up, finding dimensions is also messed up and points are messed up for lines

and by dimensions, when you hold alt/option it shows how far it is from everything, since its using a center border its frame is messed up

For example, our app Face Dancer is a "Freemium" app (free, with in-app purchase of additional features.) The front end to the app store needed to present the additional content attractively, and in a way that the customer could see what they were getting. We therefore spent a lot of time getting the in app purchase store looking really good, and making it showcase the extra features that it offered to the user. We spent several weeks on that one feature.

It also depends on your goals for the app. Is this a learning/personal enrichment app, or an app you intend to sell? Are you developing it for yourself, or for a client? If for a client then you should really have a functional spec that spells out the behavior of each feature in pretty great detail, and use that functional spec to come up with an estimate of the amount of time it will take to implement that feature.
