Lol, I didn't study and got 189/200 on the practice test for next week, only missed 3 questions, which i knew i was gunna miss anyways

Only missed them because my book has some of the stupidest stuff in it and thought it would put the stupid answer thats close enough:P

In order to get a Computer Science minor I had to take a few other classes my senior year

There was a competition to see who got the most correct answers in class when asked

I won as the only non-CS major :p

10 classes just for CS = normal

Normal workload is between 15 and 20 credits per term if I remember correctly

Those are required

and theres another class but I'm in it now, Intro to computer information science

Discrete structures not so much, but then again the professor was kinda weird

He was eastern european and his voice cracked every other word

And now that I think about it the Data Structures teacher was pretty much a neckbeard

But he was an awesome neckbeard

Ill probably take most of them up to the C++, I have to have stupid pre-requisites for after that. I was in the C++ class but said i couldn't be there since i didn't pass the pre-reqs:P

But every class you listed, with the possible exception of assembly programming, is something I would consider required study for any serious programmers

In tech valley the opposite is sometimes true

The best thing you can show to a potential employer is code that you've written and cared for

A lot of companies do require degrees though

And actually a 4 year degree is practically required to get a working visa for Japan

But a degree usually can't hurt (1% it can, in some radical companies...but they are not really normal)

Jenkins is being a butthole lately

Well I don't think it's Jenkins' fault though

For some reason the job will randomly fail the the error message "user interaction is not allowed"

This means the the keychain is getting locked and codesign can't sign things but WHY

I set the timeout to an hour...

In Australia it's 4 weeks but from what I see hardly anyone follow that closely – many leave with 1 or 2 weeks notice only.

But I will work with both companies to leave on gracious terms

It depends on how many level of bureaucracy there are in the company.

The last 2 jobs I had was like within 24 hours of the interview they will get back to me on call at least.

But that's because they are very small companies.
