2 of my applications are rejected because Apple uses iPads for testing applications, but iOS 8 runs iPhone apps as iPad apps, so because one of their APIs works differently on iPad and presents as a popover, my app is being rejected

So now i have to let my thousands of customers wait a few more weeks so i can add 2 lines of code which will be useless when iOS 8.1 comes out

No more calls to me about clients who can't connect to FTP

You are required to make sure that the app runs on iPads as per the app store guidelines

In iOS 8.0.X, there is no such thing as an iPhone app, its all universal. This is not my problem, this is apples mistake, its already fixed in iOS 8.1 Ive heard

So why do i have to revert my code, fix something which apple fixes in the next release, which my update won't even be out by then

because iOS 8.1 comes out in like 2 weeks, so by the time its accepted, its useless

So why don't you wait until it is released before you release the update?

I'm not saying that it's a nice solution but it seems to avoid this pain right?

It wouldn't have mattered If Apple released iOS 8 when it was ready rather than release a crap update

And I got to school from 9am-9pm, and I still have to read 10 pages of philosophy, answer 20 questions and write a paragraph, so ill be up tip like 1 or 2 resubmitting apps because I don't have time to wait until thursday or friday

And instead of fucking developers, they maybe should have added a patch in iOS 8.0.2 to fix activity view controllers from crashing in iPhone-universal apps, but I'm sure nobody tested that

They're thawing parties there or sleeping on the job because iOS 8 is a piece of 💩

Theres actually no reason to update iPhone apps until 8.1 because I'm sure a user would comment "what happened to this app working on iPad? I want that back!" and giving a 1 star review, I'm not giving universal apps free.
