Just fired our visa agents as it looks like they can't actually help us in any way - yet once we get to a certain stage in the proccess we'd have to pay them a lot of money.

That's the US draft system agency

for drafting people into the military

there is no active draft, but I believe even though there isn't US males of a certain age are supposed to register with them

US male citizens above the age of 18 are legally required to register

the last I knew at least...it's a one time thing

It's genuinely hard to get rejected in Singapore if you are supposed to be here

And the validation value behind the scenes goes up with inflation. So I need to do the whole application again and this time enter a higher value. Which is scary because I don't actually have that much money anymore as I already spent it getting over here for the Student Visa :(

So i filled in the value wrong, but, I don't actually that the requirement anyway! Annoying but stress busting.

Unfortunately I can't get that "nonexistence" status when it comes to taxes, that's one area they are on top of.

I really just can't enjoy Haskell. It's community ruined it for me by writing 50,000 tutorials explaining how easy monads are and you'll totally get it this time guys

I'm so glad USB-C is slowly becoming standard. I was just able to stop charging my watch and charge my phone with the same cable, no longer worrying about having two.
