Hi..

How to increase the width of editetxt?

just now it displays a single dash like an underscore _

But I want to increase it's length or width to ___________

I can't figure out why my viewpager isn't working.

So TL;DR I have a viewpager with two fragments, one for saturday's events and sunday's events. Right now, Saturday has 2 events but Sunday has 0 events. Both fragments have empty recyclerviews.

When I tried populating it without the date condition, both fragments had the two events (because I just pulled all events).

So, I'm wondering if they're referencing the same adapter somehow, and so it's just always populating with 'sundays' events

Well, I have a Fragment.newInstance() function that's called by the FragmentStatePagerAdapter and I create the RecyclerViewInstance inside onCreateView of the fragment. So, if onCreateView is called for each fragment (which I thought so) then yes, I am, right? If onCreateView isn't being called twice, then no I guess not.

I'm starting to think it's the latter, just because that would explain the behavior. So where is the proper place to create the Recyclerview?

I think this is a really good SO question, I'll just have to make sure I word it right.

I think what would confirm my theory is to hack this list and put sundays date first, and so 'Saturday' is the second date, and if I see both lists with saturdays events, then that would confirm what I'm thinking.

Well, They printed differently when I called adapter.toString() I did the same for the recyclerview also

At least I know it's the ViewPager's fault. You don't want to know how much time I spent trying to debug my sqlite query because I thought it was returning no results.
