hello I know probably this is repeat question but please help me I want to flip animation between two activity I have to separate activity and i want to flip animation if i call second activity using StartActivity(Intent)

I judged it cannot in the drawable,i found it one day

@JoelSeah if you try to access an object which is null you will get a NullPointerException because you can't work with null

that is why you have to perform a null check and handle possible null situations

@OctavianDamiean but this is weird. because when i do it the search for an item the 1st time, it catually loads the images into the images views so it works

a possible null situations handling in this case would be, if the URL string is null, then set a stub image as a replacement

Here is a pretty good series of Java for Android. I can recommend it as a start, other than that I really recommend a good book on Java like Thinking in Java by Bruce Eckel.
