@Androyds ok that's allright but some times there are some new items added on the server or price changed of some items then how you are showing these things in your app
but of course the notification works only on web right, we have a function on the web that will text(mobile) that will text the user so that he must find a internet spot to refresh

@NareshSharma, I could not get that. If onUpgrade method contains "alter" and if the old and the new version mismatch, it should update the table. But, why do need to change my "onCreate" by adding the column there too?

@victor ok when u getting path simple use loop like
@furqi in latest os if are using asynctask which is only single task at that time than it will run otherwise in such situation you have service which run asyctask in backgrund and now you are trying to start another asynctask in any of activity before finished the previous asynctask than it will just show dialog and not not works for that you have to use parallle asynctask try this way
@furqi before few days i face same problem i have used thread and post runnable but in tab that post runnable for imageview will not execute at that time and in emulator it works fine
