@Riccardo990 abit.. I think you should really spend some time making a couple of forms and writting some validation for them in javascript. Then when you have tried a couple of ways to do it, check html5 validation and then check some libs that help you speed up the process of custom validation

^ though I'm sure code igniter is probably already doing something similar and manually handling it yourself will probably break the framework
