No, but I just tried:

    (yield)->next();
}

function gen() {
    yield from bar();
}

($gen = gen())->send($gen);

and had that yield without parens first…

the syntax is only expr->foo for certain, special cases. Like expr being $a

wow I think it's faster to reinstall windows than to uninstall all Visual Studio components.... NEVER install that BLOAT
