I'd like to write a query for a SQL Server database that checks if an ISBN is numerically valid. I have a table with an ISBN column and some in the column are not valid. I can relatively easily export to Excel to find them, but I'd like to use a SQL solution since that would have greater future utility. I'm not really sure where to start though. I've never even written a function for SQL. Any advice?
